We have several food banks and community organizations we work with to ensure that you get your nutritional needs met and clothes. Check back often for resources added in your area.
Thanks to the collaboration with Christway Ministries and Nurse Next Door we are now able to do prescreening for those needing SNAP and Medicare through SC Thrive.
Are you looking for someone who will appreciate the value of having a job? Please contact us first. Through our resource network we will present you with applicants that meet your needs and you will be changing the life of someone who may be homeless and needs a hand up not a hand out.
Destiny Community Cafe is a pay-what-you-can community cafe that is now a mobile kitchen. Founder and Executive Director, Mrs. RaGina Saunders provides high quality and delicious meals produced from local sources when available, served with love and the Gullah Geechee flare as only she can do. Everybody eats, regardless of whether they can pay but those who can are encouraged to pay it forward for those who can't. You can volunteer if your pockets are empty because their hearts are always full.
Because this outreach is now mobile; local businesses can contact the mobile food trucks for catering events to help support the community mission. Follow Destiny's website for locations or request her to come out to your neighborhood. Contact us or Mrs. Saunders for more information.
The Lowcountry Food Bank now has a mobile food pantry in addition to providing a list of food pantry partners in many food insecure areas surrounding the lowcountry. The link provided will allow you to input your zip code and find the pantry closest to you to receive free food. You will also find the monthly calendar the food bank provides for the Mobile Pantry, Fresh for All and Fresh Xpress food distributions hosted by their partner agencies.
